Requisition ID: 210559Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.As the Senior Manager, Business Development & Advisor Outreach, you will be a key member of Scotia Advisor Deposit Services (ADS) team, contributing to the overall growth of Investment Savings Account (“ISA”) and Guaranteed Investment Certificate (“GIC”) deposit products through a focus on relationship management, business development and providing direction & support to the Business Development Specialist outbound calling activities. You will be a key driver of growth in volume and deposit market share and contributes to the profitability of the unit, and be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the ISA and GIC deposit base through related objectives.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:Proactively work with existing and new Brokers, Dealers, Advisors, and COI’s to generate sales resultsContribute to the growth and profitability targets by increasing new dealer/advisor relationshipsMaintain an active, internal calling program focused on Dynamic product wholesalers, and dealer relations team to ensure they have a full and complete understanding of the full ADS product offeringMaintain a working relationship with the Dynamic call centre to provide an ongoing product education program and service support for questions that may arise on a daily basis, including initiating various outbound calling programs in conjunction with the call centre management team.In conjunction with the Senior Manager, Business Development & Dealer Relations, maintain an active calling program to identify and develop new deposit relationshipsGather and analyze calling statistics to determine where market opportunities may existPrepare and provide input (as appropriate) to ADS sales and marketing materialEnsure adherence to the terms and conditions of the Service Agreements between ADS and its partnersProvide market intelligence, with the development of new and enhanced products, related policies, procedures and communication to internal and external partnersAddress client service issues where applicableMaintain a high profile, by building and maintaining relationships with key industry centers of influence (COIs)Ensure the provision of excellent support and expertise to all internal and external business partners and clientsAssist with the creation of product presentations and documents targeting internal audiences and senior executivesEnsure all internal and external users (sales staff, support units and clients) are provided with up-to-date information through circulars, sales aids, manuals, and informational and training sessionsAssist in developing a sales and marketing plan incorporating planned initiatives, and a longer-term (1-2 year) vision for the delivery of deposit products and programsDevelop and maintain an understanding of ADS’s market share and market potential for ISA and GIC products at key advisors and dealers by gathering market intelligence, and maintaining an understanding of the competitive landscape, competitor products and delivery channelsProvide input and contribute to identification, conceptualization, evaluation, development and implementation of other ADS strategic initiatives (e.g. new market and business growth opportunities, new products/programs, new sales management and channel strategies)Provide input into the establishment of pricing strategies for ADS productsDevelop and execute sales action plans to generate results for the departmentAuthor various reports including weekly, monthly and annual activities and trendsContribute to ensuring that operational and systems problems impacting customer delivery and satisfaction are identified and solutions implemented by the appropriate departmentContribute to the content and management of the ADS websiteUnderstand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environmentDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
