Job Summary You will support the Enterprise Strategy & Transformation – Business Process Re-Engineering (ES&T) team in developing, driving and partnering with RBC Lines of Business to optimize business processes from a customer centric and productivity lens.This includes developing current state views and designing and implementing future state processes leveraging a broad toolkit of process change methodologies and next generation Process Technologies such as Robotic Process/Desktop/Cognitive Automation, Machine Learning and Workflow tools.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You will support the Enterprise Strategy & Transformation – Business Process Re-Engineering (ES&T) team in developing, driving and partnering with RBC Lines of Business to optimize business processes from a customer centric and productivity lens.This includes developing current state views and designing and implementing future state processes leveraging a broad toolkit of process change methodologies and next generation Process Technologies such as Robotic Process/Desktop/Cognitive Automation, Machine Learning and Workflow tools.The team serves as thought partners to senior executives and Line of Business partners, offering targeted support for the highest priority and most complex strategic or process related problems. The team also acts as a catalyst for enterprise transformation, cross-platform collaboration, and new capability development.What will you do?
- Support the ES&T team to develop a robust pipeline of strategic process improvement initiatives across multiple Lines of Business
- Lead strategic reviews of segments, lines of business, functions and key processes, ensuring the process and productivity strategies are well developed, articulated and aligned across businesses and with enterprise perspective/priorities
- Perform strategic process reviews, from an End-to-End/Front-to-Back and Customer centric lens for Group Executives, segment Operating Committees, Enterprise Strategy Office and Line of business partners
- Lead the implementation of Process Improvement opportunities in partnership with the Lines of Business and Functions
- Apply Process Re-Engineering thought leadership (eg. E2E/F2B Design, ‘Shift to Left’ Re-Engineering, Straight-Through-Processing, Lean, Workflow, Workforce Management, RPA/RDA/RCA, Zero base design) to the Line of Business partners
- Support senior leaders, strategists, functions and cross- functional project teams with rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
- 3+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Consulting, Financial Services, Process Improvement/Optimization, Robotics, Machine Learning, FinTech or technology company
- Experience with new/emerging businesses and digital business models
- Demonstrated ability in Process analysis, application of Robotics, process design and implementation
- Interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization
- Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence; strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and across different lines of business
Nice-to-have
- MBA or graduate / post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of deep and broad management consulting experience with an emphasis on business strategy or Process / Productivity Improvements
- Lean or Process Improvement Designations
