Position Summary…What you’ll do…*This role is open to candidates who live near an office location or will relocate. Office locations are Bentonville, AR*About the team:As part of Walmart’s eCommerce org, you will be helping build the future of omni-channel retail. The mission of the Search and Discovery team within is to help customers find and buy the right products from our expanding selection of inventory across stores, Walmart fulfillment and marketplace sellers.About the role:The Senior Manager, Business Strategy – Search & Discovery works with business, product and engineering to prioritize, design and build the Walmart online search experience. You’ll lead a mix of strategic and operational projects across the team. You’ll work cross-functionally across multiple departments throughout Walmart (e.g. site, marketing, marketplace, product, design, engineering) to drive forward search and discovery related initiatives from idea to execution. We are looking for a leader who is a self-starter and thrives in ambiguity with bias for action and excellent communication skills.What You’ll Do:Strategic & Operational Focus:

  • Build strategic and operational planning for key projects, including presentations and materials.
  • Own regular operational reporting of the business, including preparing materials and monitoring operating plans.

Cross Walmart Program Support:

  • Support your projects through regular program management (you are the glue the keeps the projects moving forward) in every aspect of including resource planning, design, analytics, etc.
  • Drive and support cross WMT relationships.
  • Actively monitor project risks and dependencies and help remove identified barriers to ensure success.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in innovation, business consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
  • Thinks critically and systematically about complex business problems and uses strategic frameworks, to prepare strategies, understand trade-offs, and make informed business decisions.
  • Experience managing cross functional projects and relationships and working directly with executive leadership
  • You are intellectually curious, high energy, and strong work ethic
  • Success in an entrepreneurial environment and ability to manage and execute multiple priorities at a fast-paced company while operating independently through ambiguity with minimal supervision
  • Superb communication of concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels including C-level executives; ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to senior business audiences
