What You’ll Do
- Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Leads lending operations team in ensuring the timely execution of the Bank’s Corporate borrower’s requests and effective administration of their credit facilities under various deal structures, where The Bank is the Agent Bank, participant lender or direct lender.
- Manages a team and oversees quality execution of all administrative duties in a timely manner, maintaining team productivity to target, execute staffing plans, monitor, and oversee operational controls.
- Responsible for ensuring all time sensitive and critical work is completed by the team or escalated for proper resolution.
- Works with other groups to collaborate on process improvements and disseminate same to his/her group, promote sharing ideas and best practices across the team and provide development and coaching.
- Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vison/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning for the team.
What You’ll Bring
- University Undergraduate degree in Finance or business-related studies or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge and skills with corporate loan product, credit life cycle
- experience with LoanIQ is an asset
- Advance computer skills, particularly MS Office Suite – Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point etc.
Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
