If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.Your roleThe ideal candidate would be from a technology background with defence credentials, or from defence with very strong digital transformation and technology understanding. They should be comfortable translating current and future technology trends and how they impact current defence assumptions and programmes. A key ability will be to balance between technical capability and user empathy.The Senior Manager / Director will have responsibility for:
- Engagement Management: Leading a range of projects and programmes (including QA); complete project planning and budgeting; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk; manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
- Client Management: Manage day-to-day interactions with senior clients and sponsors; working collaboratively to develop and foster relationships with key clients
- Business Development: Originating and leading sales and developing our propositions (including new propositions); develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; participate in and lead proposals.
- Practice Development & Eminence: Develop solutions and methodologies; develop thought leadership and point-of-view documents; participate in public speaking and industry events.
- People Development: Perform role of counsellor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support delivery teams and staff in local offices.

- Willing and eligible to apply and obtain UK security clearance to Security
Check (SC) or Developed Vetting level, if not holding an existing clearance
- Defence & Security awareness either working directly or in support of UK HMG
- Technology awareness either working directly or in support of Tech Industry
- Specific awareness around cloud, AI, data, analysis and disruptive digital technologies
- Defence-related awareness and empathy around digital transformation, adoption, information advantage
- Business development credentials within the defence or technology sector
- Able to form and hold senior relationships across client base
- Team leadership of senior individuals
- Experience of agile and start-up approaches
- Experience of digital transformation delivery and improvement
