  • Lead large scale transformation opportunities within the Order to Cash process to achieve tangible business outcomes.
  • – Articulate informed opinions to address clients’ business challenges, by shaping the transformation strategy at the intersection of process, people, data, and technology.
  • – Communicate messages with clarity and confidence at a senior Finance stakeholder level with strong executive presence to instill confidence and establish credibility in you and your team.
  • – Collect and analyse information to develop informed recommendations that shape or support our clients’ strategy.
  • Lead projects and provide strategic direction to solve complex client issues, working collaboratively across senior multi-functional teams.
  • – Advise clients to make decisions that positively impact return on investment; provide subject matter expertise on sector and industry trends and leading practices.
  • Sell potential and current clients on Deloitte’s services and negotiate profitable transactions for the Firm.
  • Build relationships with our technology alliance partners to showcase latest innovations to our clients

Connect to your skills and professional experience

  • Fluency in Order to Cash processes and the ability to lead transformation programmes to improve these across the finance organisation, from working in either Industry or Professional Services (Consulting/Audit)
  • Extensive experience intaking key decisions related to the Order to Cash process, including target setting, process performance, financial management and driving major process redesign efforts by being accountable for their successful implementation.
  • Extensive experience of in managing projects/programme delivery across the Order to Cash process, with ability to align traditional management techniques with agile ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior Finance and business stakeholders
  • Fluency in accounting and process optimisation levers and how these are used to run and operate businesses.
  • Experience in working with CFOs, C-Level and Finance Leadership to assist, support and influence them, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Support the Finance Leadership team on the definition and communicate a clear vision and strategy for end-to-end processes across the operating model.
  • Solid experience in shaping and leading large multi-functional teams in a client facing environment, with evidence of planning and managing projects on time and to budget.
  • Understanding of industry and technology trends and the impact they have on the Finance organization and able to credibly form opinions on how these would impact and shape client decisions.
  • Leading the engagement between Finance and the Technical IT Teams to deliver process and system change.
  • Prior experience across the majority of the following:
  • Knowledge of different business/revenue models and how these impact the Order to Cash design
  • either technology implementation, target operating model, data architecture, service delivery model or financial process redesign and automation.
  • Shape the intersection between data, process and technology across Finance – and how these can be used in conjunction to deliver transformation outcomes.
  • Lead the definition of key reporting and information model dimensions and work with business and finance stakeholders to shape how these are uses to run and operate a finance function.
  • Leading and overseeing the transition of key finance and accounting activities from existing client function to co-source models.
  • Leading selection and implementation of Order to Cash tools and/or experience in leading the Order to Cash implementation for an ERP deployment.
  • Leading Finance system implementation projects – or agile experience in leading technology delivery
  • Driving teams that deliver Finance change management and business adoption activities, including capability build, benefit tracking and business readiness.
  • Experience in managing teams to reconcile complex data sets and influencing stakeholders in the resolution of reconciliation differences and their root causes.
  • Experience within Robotic Process Automation, Cloud based technologies and working with the Finance function would be beneficial.
  • Experience in the Private Sector (e.g. Consumer, Energy Resource and Industry, Technology, Media and Telecommunications); Financial Services and/or Insurance industries

Desirable skills:

  • Experience working with Order to Cash technologies such as HighRadius, Zuora and/or core ERP technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Workday Financial.
  • Experience working with broader digital technologies that enhance the Order to Cash operations of a finance team.
  • Experience in shaping BI, reporting and data visualisation to appropriately represent information and analysis.
  • Finance professional qualification such as (but not limited to): ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Leading a transformation team that has worked to develop, improve or transform finance operations.
