Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As Senior Manager, Talent Operations, you will lead all horizontal and operational pieces of the Early Talent portfolio. Our team strives to deliver exceptional programs for RBC – you will play a central role in contributing to these results while ensuring our team operates at peak efficiency.Reporting to the Senior Director, Early Talent and Employee Experience, this role offers an opportunity to execute on the horizontal aspects that touch all early talent programs. You will partner closely with other senior managers on our team, as well as our partner teams to ensure the highest level of success for our programs.What will you do?

  • Lead the team’s Objective and Key Results (OKR) goal creation and tracking, board metrics reporting, and internal reporting needs including survey standardization. Acting as a subject matter expert for all programs and holding the pen on accountability
  • Oversee all team operations including regular team meetings, offsites, meetings and planning sessions with our partners, and owning the team collaboration tools
  • Work with each sub-team to consolidate our data back to a single source of truth
  • Lead the Early Talent and Innovation Programs (ETIP) diversity initiatives including on-campus strategy and the Women’s Technical Advisory program
  • Oversee the curriculum journey for all ETIP programs, engaging stakeholders and vendors where required
  • Drive the execution of the Building Digital Literacy strategy and oversee the volunteer base
  • Be the central point of connection for our team to our Canadian and US hubs

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Driven, results-focused with meticulous organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability synthesize complex concepts/ideas/perspectives into an understandable format for a variety of different audiences
  • Experience managing mid-to large scale projects/programs involving and impacting multiple stakeholders
  • Able to quickly assess complex problems, prioritize key issues, and focus on relevant facts
  • People management experience with a passion for encouraging out of the box thinking, and creating space to test and learn

  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems
  • Self-starter, highly flexible, detail-oriented, able to cope with changing priorities and multi-task under tight deadlines and deliver with a great amount of accuracy and completeness
