Job Summary The Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategy & Transformation – Strategic Transformation will be responsible for developing, prioritizing and managing a robust pipeline of strategic process improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate will lead strategic reviews of segments, lines of business, functions and key processes, ensuring the process and productivity strategies are well developed, articulated and aligned across businesses and with enterprise perspective/priorities.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?
- Enterprise Strategy & Transformation (ES&T), RBC’s cross-enterprise internal consulting and corporate strategy team, is organized under the RBC Chief Legal & Administrative Officer.
- The team serves as thought partners to senior executives and Line of Business partners, offering targeted support for the highest priority and most complex strategic or process-related problems. The team also acts as a catalyst for enterprise transformation, cross-platform collaboration, and new capability development.
- You will support the ES&T – Strategic Transformation team in developing, driving, and partnering with RBC Lines of Business to optimize business processes from a customer centric and productivity lens. This includes developing new target operating models, streamlining business processes and customer journeys, and enhancing productivity leveraging a broad toolkit of process change methodologies.
What will you do?
- Perform strategic process reviews from an End-to-End/Front-to-Back and Customer centric lens for Group Executives, segment Operating Committees, Enterprise Strategy Office, and Line of Business partners, ensuring the process and productivity strategies are well developed, articulated, and aligned with enterprise perspective/priorities
- Support senior leaders, functions, and cross-functional project teams with rigorous strategic insight based on thorough research and analysis
- Lead the implementation of process improvement opportunities in partnership with the Lines of Business and Functions, leveraging process optimization principles
- Gain the position of trusted advisor and help facilitate trade-off / prioritization decisions with senior leaders, functions, cross-functional project teams and colleagues
- Manage consulting project workstreams and present engagement deliverables, raising risks / issues and providing solutions to minimize impact on timelines
What do you need to succeed?Must Have
- MBA or graduate / post-graduate or professional designations or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, large-scale process transformation within financial services, fintech or technology company
- 2+ years demonstrated ability in executing strategic consulting engagements with an emphasis on business strategy or process/productivity improvements
- Experience with new/emerging businesses and digital business models
- Proven skillset in conceptual and analytic problem solving
- Demonstrated ability in project execution including design, resource management, and implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships at every level of the organization
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills and presence; strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and across different lines of business
