Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As Senior Manager, Credit Cards Finance Performance Management, Insights & Analytics, you will collaborate with Finance & Credit Cards business partners to drive profitable growth through insightful business and financial analysis. With strong financial modelling skills, solid statistical understanding and exceptional business acumen, you will develop business cases and perform ad hoc analyses to guide business decisions. This role provides support for financial results and planning processes. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.What you will do?
- Partner with the Credit Cards Co-Brand and Grocery segment team delivering analysis and insights to support business case development, profitability analysis, program performance and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with Credit Cards business and finance colleagues to setup new products requirements and ensure financial results are accurate
- Develop Credit Cards business case models to ensure consistency of financial analysis leveraging best practices, product profitability and campaign profitability data sets
- Enhancing finance effectiveness through forecast/planning model improvement, improve data insights and reporting
- Collaborate with partners across the Bank on key initiatives and ensure financials are accurate
- Create Grocery Co-Brand P&L for management reporting
- Responsible for reporting, forecast/planning Revenue and NIE for Co-brands, Networks and Interchange
- Responsible for establishing the proper ongoing governance structures with business partners
- Responsible for establishing key performance monitoring activities to track progress against key milestones and proactively identify profitable strategies to exceed targets
- Responsible for monthly Co-Brand financial reporting, business performance review and presentation to Senior Management Team
- Monthly NIE review and variances, accrual, invoices
- Proactively explore and implement opportunities to improve processes and increase capacity
- Co-ordinate and consolidate month-end reporting, and forecasting/planning FP&A related activities for CPTL
- Ad hoc support for CPTL team as required
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- CA, CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent with +5 years of relevant finance and industry experience
- Exceptional financial modelling and business partnering capabilities
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Credit Cards and Networks
- Understanding of finance theory / application; understanding of financial / statistical concepts and approaches
- Working in a matrix model, execute with a high degree of collaboration with partners and effectively influence stakeholders resulting in a better outcome via strong interpersonal skills and trust
- Ability to manage competing priorities within tight timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills; effective communicator and ability to influence and defend recommendations
- Previous track record working in a financial institution
- Execute with a high sense of urgency
- Independent, self-directed with growth and continuous improvement mindset
- Curious, innovative, proactive, and strategic business sense
- Strong attention to detail
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Credit Cards, Loyalty and Rewards programs, Payments and Networks
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Thinkcell, EPM, PeopleSoft
