Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Home Equity Financing (HEF) is the leading lender of residential mortgages in Canada, and RBC’s single largest business with over $300 Billion in assets. As the Senior Manager, HEF Acquisition Product Owner, you will play an integral role in managing all aspects of acquisition including development and execution of our strategic acquisition plan, identifying new lead source opportunities and the ongoing management of main lead drivers. This role also oversees digital platforms and/or ecosystems focused on the client journey and ensuring we’re presenting the client with meaningful content at key moments in time to build trust and engagement. The successful candidate will work with key partners including DM&S, Marketing, Policy, Enablement, and Distribution to ensure an optimized client journey and smooth integration with the sales force.What will you do?Lead activities with respect to the vision, strategy, and general management of HEF acquisition activities including but not limited to the top lead generator –the True House Affordability tool, as well as our key projects.Understand and evaluate current state mortgage acquisition and take into consideration, distribution objectives, sales forces strategies, client preferences and client value propositions to uncover opportunities for future enhancements.Strategy includes consideration of customer, value proposition, channel, competition, macro economic factors, product & innovation, marketing, pricing & fees and profitability.Collaborate with Partners (Risk, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Distribution) and lead through impact and influence to design & deliver new product launches and/or enhancements to the marketDevelop reporting for key tools: performance management metricsSource and implement new lead generating partnerships that are along the client journey Align with broader team channel & distribution strategy including development of tactics that will support increased volumesWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have:Requires understanding of the Home Equity Financing businessProven experience on bringing key projects from idea conception to market launch, acquisition or digital experience is an assetA good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindsetAn excellent ability to work cross functionally & lead through impact and influenceKey Leadership Competencies include: Strategic Focus, Building Future Capability,Leading Change & Continuous Renewal and Accountability.Natural curiosity and fast learner with a passion for acquisition.Requires well developed written and oral communication skills.Nice to have:Post secondary degree with emphasis on Business/Strategic ManagementExperience collaborating with product, digital and marketing teamsStrong stakeholder management skills, demonstrated experience navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal & external partnersWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
