Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As the Senior Manager, Pricing and Analytics, you will be responsible for the development and management of pricing strategies to drive profitable growth and increased market share for the Personal Lending (PL) portfolios. The Senior Manager of Pricing & Analytics is responsible for the development and end-to-end implementation of pricing strategies, including providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive growth and profitability.What will you do?Develop and maintain origination pricing strategies for Unsecured Lines of Credit, Education Financing and Installment loans to ensure an optimal balance between profitability and acquisition volumesIdentify and execute on price optimization opportunities for revolving credit product portfolios to achieve profitability targets and improve KPIsMonitor competitor activity and develop benchmarking to inform pricing strategiesWork closely with partner groups to manage the pricing lifecycle (strategy, execution, performance monitoring and refinement) for all PL productsSupport the analytics needs of the PL business, including developing a deeper understanding of segment economics and customer behaviour, support for business cases, deep dives on new product innovation and special projectsProvide ad hoc analysis with actionable insights to enable strategic, fact-based discussions and facilitate better decision-making within PLWhat do you need to succeed?Must have:3+ years related work experience developing pricing and financial modellingProgramming experience to extract data and complete complex analytics. SAS / SQL required. R, Python, etc. preferredExperience developing reporting and dashboards using Tableau or similar softwareStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsStrategic mindset and ability to own the development and execution of pricing strategies and playbooksAbility to demonstrate proficiency for critical thinking and unpacking ambiguityStrong written and verbal communication skills, leveraging data and insights to tell a storyNice to have:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field is preferred but not required (e.g. Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.)Strong understanding of financial concepts including cost of funds, funds transfer pricing, etc.Previous experience in credit risk including risk modeling and credit strategy developmentKnowledge and experience developing statistical models including linear & logistic regression, survival models, decision trees, neural nets, cluster analysis, etc. and applying their output in practical strategiesWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
