Position Summary…What you’ll do…About the Team:Global Procurement is responsible for sourcing of goods and services not for resale (GNFR). This responsibility spans end-to-end procurement; from collaborating with our business partners and developing requirements to negotiating with suppliers to deliver best in class supplier partnerships. Global Procurement adds value through ensuring quality and service levels are met, negotiating savings, driving innovation, adhering to compliance, and focusing on supplier diversity and sustainability. Procurement is responsible for the selection of suppliers and their overall performance on behalf of the business teams we support.About the Position:Want to use your Procurement Skills to leverage suppliers to bring the best value back to Walmart? The Senior Manager, Procurement is a primary steward of our company; you’ll engage with numerous suppliers while working alongside a forward-thinking team in supporting stakeholders throughout Walmart. You will collaborate with your stakeholders in researching, building, and executing supplier strategies.Responsibilities include:Grow Leaders – Enhance competencies & build organizational capabilities.Change how we work – Implement world-class supply base management.Deliver Value – Deliver best in class savings and cash efficiency.Protect the Company – Leverage system and process to ensure consistency.You’ll make an impact by:Contracting: The ability to develop and lead contract negotiations with vendors, while collaborating with the business stakeholders and legal team.Build Effective RFP’s: Modeling historic and real time market data to identify the right suppliers to support our company objectives.Engaging Stakeholders: Identify and meet with both internal and external teams to drive value and deliver savings.Building strategic Sourcing Strategies: Maximize relationships with new and existing suppliers, understanding, and evaluating their products and capabilities and negotiating advantageous rates. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
