Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This role will be a critical component in the broader finance transformation program The candidate will direct and oversee the strategic redesign of core global finance processes and the associated end to end implementation while supporting the designated CFO OC Sponsor of each core processes and driving accountability for all aspects of process re-engineering.They will lead the most highly critical/complex finance process reengineering transformation initiatives with a goal to standardize processes, tools and practices necessary to execute change initiatives, while enabling repeatable transformational change.The outcome from this work will be a key contributor to enabling the CFO Group to transform from manually driven, siloed, and fragmented finance processes into global, efficient, and best in class offerings.A key component of this role will be to understand and interpret strategic transformational goals and effectively translate them into actional plans, fostering a culture of accountability, and driving measurable results to propel the CFO group forward.What you will do?Supports multiple senior leaders including: Director, Senior Director, VP level stakeholders as well as the COO for the CFO Group with achieving transformational strategic priorities globally across RBC Finance.The candidate will lead the most highly critical/complex finance process reengineering transformation initiatives with a goal to standardize processes, tools and practices necessary to execute change initiatives, while enabling repeatable transformational change:Develops associated research and analysis to support strategic solutions and recommendations.Possesses a solid understanding of core financial processes and considered well-versed across the organization.Discovers, synthesizes, analyses and structures complex operating/process problems, opportunities, and issues as detailed engagement work plans.Leads development, planning, coordination, and execution of process transformation, including planning, modelling, technology requirements, testing and strategic planning for implementation.Bridges the gap between business and technology requirements; linking strategy and execution.Presents key findings and potentials solutions into a target state recommendation and an actionable plan.Recommends new and enhanced capabilities and services; cutting edge solutions.Benchmark on industry best practices to drive improvements to maturity and establish ‘best in class’ industry processes.Brings together and manage key stakeholders; present and gain buy in from business partners.Supports the development and implements change management plans to ensure program deliverables are achieved.Establishes and maintains strategic partnerships with internal and external partners.Prepares and presents clear and thoughtful materials to enable business decision support.Responsible for identifying key issues prior to and during implementation, raising issues with key stakeholders and offering solutions.What you need to succeed?Must Have5+ years of progressive experience in Banking or a professional services firmProven track record of delivering tangible outcomes, while navigating through ambiguitySuperior knowledge of core financial processesProcess strategy and re-engineeringExcellent communication and business writing skillsStrong negotiation, impact and influence, and stakeholder managementAbility to disrupt and challenge the status quo to drive transformation across the enterpriseExperience with respect to business optimizationProven ability to develop business requirements for technology enablementJob Skills Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR), Change Management, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Finance Transformation, Initiating Change, Organizational Change Management, Process Design, Results-Oriented, Solutions Development, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Design, Taking Initiative, Transformational ChangeAdditional Job DetailsAddress: 20 KING ST W:TORONTOCity: TORONTOCountry: CanadaWork hours/week: 37.5Employment Type: Full timePlatform: OFFICE OF THE CFOJob Type: RegularPay Type: SalariedPosted Date: 2025-04-01Application Deadline: 2025-04-17Note: Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM on the day prior to the application deadline date aboveInclusion and Equal Opportunity EmploymentAt RBC, we believe an inclusive workplace that has diverse perspectives is core to our continued growth as one of the largest and most successful banks in the world.
