We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Vendor Management, to join the team, reporting to the Director, Vendor Governance.You will be responsible for the execution of key programs such as vendor onboarding and vendor performance) and ensure they meet OSFI requirements. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Ensure the success and oversee the effectiveness of the Enterprise Vendor Management Program across the Bank by implementing common standards and practices
  • Manage relationships and governance for an extensive list of vendors
  • Design and implement supplier performance scorecards for vendor assessment in contract management, financial management, performance management, risk management and relationship management areas
  • Lead cross functional teams by effectively manage relationships with 1st and 2nd line business partners involved in management and oversight of service providers
  • Support development and implementation of relevant policies, standards, directives, frameworks, and requirements relating to management of third parties
  • Create, maintain, and meet deadlines for vendor management reporting
  • Conduct contract reviews and due diligence activities to ensure contracts and renewals incorporate business and regulatory requirements
  • Oversees the on-boarding process and materiality assessment, ensuring all vendor governance program elements are met
  • Ensure that third-party risks are appropriately identified, assessed, managed, monitored and reported
  • Implement supplier rationalization as a program across the bank with the objective to reduce supply base
  • Develop detailed expense models, budget forecasting and analysis
  • Create and deliver training of all associates on the Bank’s Vendor Management program

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent
  • 10 years of relevant experience (banking industry experience)
  • In depth knowledge of financial services operating model and Third-Party Management lifecycle
  • Vendor Governance experience in banking industry and OSFI guidelines
  • Lean Six Sigma certification, an asset
  • Project management skills and experience leading small projects.
