Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, you will pre-screen, prepare and input all financial and various non-financial transactions by standard cut off times. This will Include but is not limited to account set-up; address changes, investor changes, redemptions, purchases, switches, non-complex NIGOs, direct trade and wire order placement and settlement. You will also assist other RBC Investor Services departments/teams in the resolution of Client issues in order to maximize Client experience.What will you do?Process Segregated Funds and Mutual Funds Financial & Non-Financial transactions within industry standards.Apply Quality Control procedures to processed transactions to ensure First-Time-Right transaction processing.Adhere to Not-In-Good-Order processes and procedures.Monitor and clear Workflow system to ensure trades are processed within Capture/PEGA service level standards.Ensure workflow processes and procedures are followed to accurately capture transaction statistics.Investor accounts are accurately messaged/note of processed transactionsAudit Transactions, question procedures, suggest improvements to processes and give accurate feedback to team members to help reduce errors and ensure a high accuracy rate.Communicate effectively with both internal and external client groupsWork with Manager to update Desk Operating Procedures and other tasks as assigned.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveFluent in French and English (both written and verbal)Experience within Shareholder Services or similar multi-client mutual fund administration environmentGood working knowledge / experience in the financial services industry, specifically in Segregated Funds and Mutual fund administrationSound knowledge of Segregated Funds and Mutual Funds taxation and compliance /regulation – including Registered ProductsDemonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high stress environmentCommunicate effectively with both internal and external client groupsNice to haveProven track record in leading initiatives, managing cross-functional relationshipsCompletion of IFIC Mutual Funds Operations CourseUnitrax Recordkeeping System knowledgeFundSERV knowledgeWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
