Salary: £44,070 – £52,327 per annum + £2,000 Golden Hello + £2,000 Annual Retention Allowance
Contract: Permanent, Full-timeBromley is excited to invite applications for Senior Practitioners to join our Children & Families Hub (MASH). This is your opportunity to be part of an ambitious team dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in Bromley.About the Role
As a Senior Practitioner in the Children & Families Hub, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting families by assessing referrals and ensuring children and young people receive the right interventions. You will work as part of a multi-agency team to screen referrals, assess early help requests, and safeguard children and young people at risk.The Hub is a dynamic, collaborative environment where you’ll work alongside a range of professionals, including Police, Health, Education, Youth Justice Service (YJS), and IDVA Navigators, all of whom contribute valuable insights that shape decision-making and intervention.What You’ll Do

  • Assess and screen referrals regarding children and young people aged 0-18
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-agency team, providing a comprehensive view of each case
  • Make informed recommendations and decisions to safeguard children and deliver timely, effective interventions
  • Contribute to a culture of high standards in social work practice

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking highly skilled Senior Social Work Practitioners with experience in risk assessment and the ability to work within a multi-agency setting. You’ll need a strong understanding of child protection legislation and statutory guidance. As an experienced social worker, you’ll have:

  • Extensive experience in children and families work
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to assess complex situations
  • Knowledge of safeguarding protocols and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
  • A passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and families
