SENIOR / PRINCIPAL CIVIL ENGINEER£55k-£60k plus benefitsPermanentBristol, South WestCould you build a team around you and win work? Do you have good local connections in Bristol? If you can answer yes, this opportunity could be just for you – providing you are happy to the first engineer at the civils helm.Our client has an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic, client facing professional civil engineer at either senior or principal level. If you have strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships they will want to meet with you.Projects include education, community, residential, healthcare, education and heritage.The role (in brief):
- Oversee successful management, design and development of construction projects
- Deliver schemes on time and within budget
- Review and assess technical documents
- Build a team around you, leading and guiding the team
- Oversee teams on construction sites
About you:
- Degree in civil engineering
- Chartered or working towards
- Proficient in relevant software such as CAD, PDS, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/FLOW
- Experience of FRA’s and a background in private and adoptable drainage design
- Comprehensive understanding of project planning, specification, design, procurement and commissioning
- Experience managing teams and winning work
