Senior / Principal EIA Consultant – Urban Regeneration / PropertyAre you a seasoned professional passionate about urban regeneration and environmental sustainability? Are you ready to lead and influence high profile urban regeneration and property projects to ensure the best environmental outcomes are achieved? RSK Environment, one of the UK’s leading environmental consultancies, is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced Senior and Principal Consultant to join our expanding team and play a pivotal role in delivering EIA’s across the UK for urban regeneration and a range of property development projects including commercial, residential, industrial and healthcare.At RSK Environment, we are dedicated to supporting our clients to achieve their aspirations whilst ensuring that development is sympathetically designed to maximise environmental outcomes. As such we are looking for someone who is client focused, has a positive and proactive attitude and is comfortable leading and managing multi disciplinary teams. - Lead Major Property Development Projects: Manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for high-profile projects, guiding them through planning and implementation.
- Develop Comprehensive Documentation: Prepare and deliver feasibility studies, screening and scoping reports, environmental statements, and other key EIA deliverables.
- Strategic Growth: Lead in proposal and tender preparation, supporting business development and maintaining robust client and stakeholder relationships.
- Provide Strategic Expertise: Offer specialist advice on environmental and regulatory issues, ensuring projects meet best practices and sustainability targets.
- Mentor and Lead Teams: Support junior staff, nurturing future environmental leaders, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Experience: A strong record of managing coordinating and delivering EIAs for complex property development projects.
- Educational Background: Honours degree in a relevant discipline; MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Management, or a related field is desirable.
- Professional Credentials: Practitioner, Full IEMA membership, or equivalent, and Chartered Environmentalist status, or working actively towards it.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of EIA legislation, guidance, and best practices, with robust skills in project and financial management.
