As the Senior Program Coordinator of the Healthy Community Center in the Near East Side, this role entails overseeing the development and execution of programming and services centered on preventive wellness, with a specific focus on food education and preparation, nutrition, healthy lifestyles, culinary education, and chronic disease prevention. This position carries responsibilities for wellness and prevention programming, facility operations, and community engagement—all aimed at improving access and health equity. This includes managing day-to-day facility-retail operations, ensuring quality standards, and guiding vendors through procedures for securing retail space within the HCC and the cafe. Collaborative efforts extend to community partners, PACT, Wexner Medical Center, and the University.

Position Summary
•    Collaborate, plan, develop, and coordinate prevention and wellness programs for community and related groups, with a focus on measurable outcomes to enhance the health and wellbeing of participants.
•    Manage the day-to-day facility-retail operations, overseeing the café, demonstration kitchen, innovation space, meeting room spaces, and all aspects of space utilization, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
•    Actively promote facility awareness and community utilization through strategic marketing plans, collaborating closely with the HCC Director on comprehensive strategies
•    Integrate various functions within Medical Center systems, including staffing, food purchasing, and billing systems, to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
•    Ensure compliance for facility usage, specifically focusing on the demonstration kitchen, program spaces, and meeting spaces, in collaboration with the HCC Director.
•    Actively participate in community engagement sessions to foster continuous collaboration, gather feedback, and contribute to the co-design of programs.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
