Senior Project Accountant – Real Estate Development

Responsibilities

The Project Accountant will manage a broad scope of tasks, ranging from lease accounting to operations analysis. Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• periodic financial and management reporting for asset managers, investors and lenders
• cash management and bank reconciliations
• budgets and forecasts with variance commentary/analysis
• GL maintenance, depreciation/amortization
• track property capital cost accounting
• lease set-up, rent calculations + schedules, cam and tax recovery reconciliations

Requirements

Our client is seeking a professional who possesses

• 4 or more years’ relevant experience;full-cycle accounting, financial + management reporting, budgeting + forecasting
• strong knowledge of IFRS and real-estate accounting experience
• excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, a strong work ethic and a collaborative approach

Expected salary

$105000 per year
