You will work directly with leaders who believe in celebrating successes and sharing learnings with other teams to promote progress.Program Manager / Senior Project Manager will manage the execution of large initiatives within HR IT. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities across cross-functional business and technology teams within and outside HR to ensure projects/program goals and objectives are accomplished within approved timeframe, scope and budget.What will you do?Plan and full project lifecycle (initiation, definition, financials, resourcing, implementation)Work with HR Business/Technology Owners to ensure that the initiatives successfully deliver against desired business outcomes and enable value creationHelp establish appropriate governance and oversight for assigned initiativesDevelop integrated baseline project plans applying estimation models; refines & tracks plans including coordination of inter-work stream dependencies; manages performance against delivery plansRaise and track issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves project issues and escalates to immediate manager when requiredManage project/program communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project teamResponsible for support & oversight of project and program delivery assurance and lead IT face off to RBC internal auditWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have7+ years Project /Program Management experiencePossesses a strong knowledge of SDLC and 2+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies & tooling (JIRA, Confluence, Rally Central)Strong problem solving capabilities ; Strong structured, analytical and methodological thinkingDemonstrated ability to multi-task across competing prioritiesProficiency with MS Office (Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)Nice-to-haveRBC project/Program management experienceDomain expertise in HR / PayrollPMP and/or PgMP certificationWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
