Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Senior QE Analyst in the Finance & Audit Technology (FIAT) will be responsible for leading, coordinating, managing and reporting QA activities.The Senior QE Analyst will engage with the Project Team to define QA timelines, identify QA resource requirements, plan and strategize QA activities. The individual will identify gaps in requirements; execute QA plan, report and track defects, and report issues in a timely manner to the Project Team.The Senior QE Analyst will manage and coordinate with offshore resources to deliver QA tasks on multiple projects and will act as a liaison between the offshore resources and the local project team.This role requires hands on involvement in QA activities in addition to planning, reporting, managing and coordinating tasks. The individual will resolve all issues and queries that would allow offshore to deliver their tasks in a timely manner.The individual will be required to come up with innovative ways on testing application functionality ensuring greater test coverage as a value-add service to our stake holders.The position requires knowledge of QA methodologies and principles, test automation, and experience in finance applications.What will you do?Individual will report to the QA Manager and work closely with the Project Team on various projects. Following is a list of responsibilities for this roleDevelop an understanding for Product under test and associated requirements to develop test strategy, test plan and test casesManage and coordinate activities of other QA analystsUnderstand and use established QA processes and best practices, and continually improve upon themEngage with the Project team to report QA status and issues, and provide quality deliverables on timeCollaborate effectively with the business analyst and development teams to work on defectsIdentify opportunities for efficiencies using test automation and other techniquesDevelop, code, document automation scripts to test applications of average to high complexity using different programing languagesWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have5+years’ experience in SQL and 3+ years’ experience in Unix/LinuxAt least one programming language is required, Python and Java preferredTest Automation experience (Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.)Experience in QA methodologies and processesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience managing and coordinating QA members’ testing activitiesNice-to-haveExperience in Hadoop ecosystemExperience with Jenkin, Helios, Git, JIRA, and qTestWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
