Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division. GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.Corporate Real Estate Business Intelligence Technology team is responsible for managing physical properties and facilities. Services include acquiring, leasing, managing, and disposing of real estate assets such as branches, and office spaces. In managing corporate real estate, RBC aims to reduce cost by optimizing space usage For Corporate Real Estate users who need trusted real estate information, the CRE Business Intelligence dashboards (visualization tools) built by the technology team provides access to consolidated and accurate CRE information. CRE Business Intelligence dashboards helps RBC make smarter, faster real estate decisions and allow for advanced insights into business opportunities.What will you do?Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User StoriesDevelop and maintain automated test suites using test automation toolsExecute test cases (manual/automated) document test results and raise defects whenever necessary.Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functionsParticipate in agile ceremonies like, Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetingsParticipate E2E and integration testingParticipate in defect triage and Scrum meetingsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveGood knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC, QE and DevOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, QTest, HP ALM etc.), and Defect Management processes for application testing, development and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases, executing manual/automated test cases.With a Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience having minimum 2 years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands on experience on JIRA and Confluence.Experience in Micro Service testing, Kafka and API testingStrong problem solving, design, and analytical skillsStrong Communication skills, Test Automation vision and leadership skills for innovationExperience in test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (Robot Framework, SoapUI or ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium, UFT/Lean UFT/RestAssured/, TestNG) and development languages (e.g.Python, Java, etc.)Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps Tools such as Jenkins, GIT, etcDatabase technologies (e.g. MongoDB, DB2, Oracle, SQL, IMS) and SQL experience.Nice-to-havePayment Domain KnowledgeSoftware Quality CertificationWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
