Join the Snowflake team.As a Senior Sales Finance Analyst on our Sales finance team, you will support forecasting, planning, budgeting and reporting of bookings, revenue, headcount and expenses. You will provide several key inputs for corporate finance, field finance and sales strategy teams based on your analysis of financial data and understanding of business drivers. Your expertise in analyzing data and building financial models to identify trends, risks and opportunities will support sales leaders, Corporate FP&A and field operations teams on key decisions.This role requires in-person attendance in our Bay Area offices at least 3 days per week.RESPONSIBILITIES:Track and inspect top line numbers and leading and lagging KPIs across multiple theatersBuild and maintain a sales capacity and efficiency model to guide annual planningExecute month-end and quarter-end close processes for sales financeSet up processes to build and report regional P&LsProvide support to regional teams on numerous expense itemsPerform ad-hoc analysis to support and influence key decision makers in Finance, Sales and OperationsManage key datasets that are leveraged by business partnersREQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplineMinimum of 4-5 years of experience in finance, investment banking and/or sales operationsProven track record of financial modeling and forecastingStrong analytical thinking with the ability to work with data sets and translate into actionable financial insightsSQL capabilities are an added advantage but not requiredWork effectively across cross functional teams on a day to day basisEffective communication and presentation skills to be able to influence multiple stakeholdersEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. - The estimated base salary range for this role is $111,000 – $149,100.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
