RSK Ordnance Management (RSK-OM) part of RSK Group, offers services within the bomb disposal and unexploded ordnance (UXO) sector, together with assessments of impacts relating to subsequent and possible ground and environmental contamination risks.

RSK-OM supports RSK businesses and additional clients with services including bomb disposal, UXO and ordnance management, risk assessments, ground investigation, ground contamination remediation and environmental impact mitigation. It also supports and contributes to the vital area of UXO research and investigation, both on land and in marine environments.

We are now hiring for a Senior Sales Representative in Royston, Hertfordshire to work on a hybrid basis combining both office and home working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell our organisation’s services, seeking unique ways to engage and increase audience size and clients
  • Responsible for managing clients both internal to RSK and across a wider range of external companies at national level.
  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by benchmarking our business across the sector, leveraging the excellent internal RSK network and analysing trends and results.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the UK (internal/external); and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new service lines.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, such as participation in bid/writing teams, costing new programmes/projects.
  • As the team develops, be prepared to develop additional sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Person Specification:

  • Strong communication skills with experience of negotiating and problem solving
  • Creating and implementing a sales plan
  • Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress
  • Analysing sales data with an eye for detail and polished reporting
  • Presentation skills
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Maintaining a detailed record of interactions with key clients in a CRM system
  • Ideally 3 years + of Sales experience
  • A good track record of positive sales performance

Salary & Benefits:
