Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?The Senior Software Developer will be working within Quantitative and Technology Services (QTS) team. As a senior software developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications that support corporate actions, Middle office, Payments and Accounting. Your technical proficiency will contribute to delivering high performing, highly resilient and scalable solutions.In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Join our team and contribute to shaping the future of our Data and Digital capabilities.What will you do?Responsible for the design and development of .NET, Java and scripting-based web applications, as well as the backend processes.Leads and guides cross-functional team to translate business requirements into flexible, scalable, maintainable, and extendable solutions to support business strategy.On a day-to-day basis, works closely with business partners, analysts, and developers across multiple teams to develop integrated solutions and to ensure successful completion of project objectives within budget, and on time.Works closely with IT Infrastructure and production support teams to implement solutions and to ensure stability of the production environment.Providing as-needed on-call support related to troubleshooting and resolution of the production incidents/problems.Responsible for full lifecycle of product engineering across multiple applications; responsible for ensuring adherence to quality, compliance/regulatory/audit, architectural and technical standards.Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for a large-scale system.Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.Conducting analyses of overall organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.What do you need to succeed?Must-Have:10+ years of experience in developing, designing, and maintaining web and windows applications, architectures, and frameworks. Solid grounding in OOAD and SOLID principles, and familiarity with TDD, BDD and have knowledge of testing frameworks.Deep experience with C#, Solid experience working with SQL, Python, Perl, JavaScript, shell scripts and Github; 3+ years of experience with Java, REST API/Micro services; experience with Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes; familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.Good understanding of data structures and solid experience with relational databases such as MS SQL, Sybase.Exceptionally strong business communication and stakeholder management skills, advanced problem-solving skills, autonomous & highly motivated with ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively.
