Job description
A Senior Tax Manager is required to oversee and manage all corporate tax for the large UK entity. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, while also providing strategic tax planning / forecasting advice.
- Oversee and manage all corporate tax operations
- Ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning & forecasting
- Manage relationships with external tax consultants and auditors
- Prepare and review tax returns and reports
- SAO reviews
- Tax reporting
- Provide tax advice and support to other departments within the company
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals

A successful Senior UK Tax Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent
- Practice experience is desirable but not essential
- Extensive knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
