Job SummaryJob DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Senior Technical Analyst Endpoint and Threat Surface, Cyber Technology Service Operations will provide in-depth technical expertise, consulting and advisory on a suite of applications for the Endpoint Security and Threat Management and Operations within RBC’s global Cyber Security environment. The Senior Technical Analyst will ensure prompt resolution to any production issues and partners across IT and with assigned business line(s) to assess, research, and analyze business, technical and system needs in order to maintain RBC security posture.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Coordinate Change Management activities with Integration, Engineering, Application Teams and CTO OperationsAssist CTO Operations Team with day to day Incident / Change / Problem ManagementPerform root cause analysis with service partners and escalation teams for incidents and problems, along with implementing permanent solutionsWork closely with business partners to understand the business requirements and business capabilities.Joint day-to-day support of Endpoint security applications (e.g. compliance checks reporting and remediations, planning for and performing updates)Work closely with L2 and L3 support teams to understand the security products and operating environmentContribute to Key Control Testing and Audit (walkthroughs, request for information, remediation activities as required)Lead process and technical documentation creation and upliftContribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.Active role in identifying automation opportunities and lead key implementationsOn-Call DutiesWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:Strong experience working with one or more of the following network and security technologies: Endpoint Security: Crowdstrike, Beyond Trust, FireEye, Lookout, Snare, Illumio, Imperva, Guardian DAM, Encase, XSOAR Threat Surface: Tenable.Sc, Aqua Public Cloud, Tenable.IO.Cloud, XPanseVarious OS platforms: Windows, Linux, MacOSMS Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointExperience with Python and/or Java development supporting automationCapability to manage multiple priorities across a number of assignments and prioritize effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues with unfamiliar technology.Ability to thrive in an environment with new and evolving technology.Strong communication skills, the ability to understand how a message should be delivered, to who and when.Nice-to-have:Post-Secondary Degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.Certifications in information security (eg.
