Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?The Retail Credit Engineering Innovation team is looking for a Senior Technical Systems Analyst to join the fast paced and exciting world of development, support and resiliency.You are familiar with a variety of physical and logical network topologies as well as common network infrastructures.You will be leading technical analysis, solution implementation and root cause determination.Other duties also include the review and approval of changes, incident management and problem resolution for applications in our mid-tier stack.What will you do?Managing and reviewing vulnerabilities and compliance items for the application portfolio.Ensuring that the target dates for remediation and acceptance are met for all risks related to the portfolio.Coordinating the disaster recovery tests and managing the results.Serve as an Application CustodianReview and approve/reject implementation plansEnsure enterprise standards are followed and metEnsure project handovers are completedServe as a key contact for application related requestsManage and prioritize the backlog of support ItemsTranslate technical context into high level business languageSupport application compatibility testingContinue to improve the efficiency of the support team (e.g. Technical Automation, Process improvements, knowledge documentation and knowledge sharing)Continuously educate yourself about new added infrastructure and technologiesOccasional off-hours supportWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have7+ years of experience in an application development, application maintenance, Infrastructure development or Infrastructure maintenance roleHands-on experience with risk management.Experience with disaster recovery scenarios and planning.Advanced experience in documentation and are are detail oriented.Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust technical context to the respective audienceExperience in the management of multiple parallel ongoing tasks as the product ownerAbility to lead investigations of high impact incidents coordinating multiple parties and communicating the respective state to all stakeholdersNice-to-haveUniversity/College Graduate, preferably graduate in computer science, finance, mathematics, electrical or physical sciencesExperience in support/ maintenance workKnowledge of search, analytics and machine learning tools (e.g., Elastic)Experience/understanding of automated build/deploy process through Jenkins/UCD and familiar with the DevOps / Agile/ Site Reliability EngineeringKnowledge of other technologies used within our systems such as IBM-WMB/IIB/ACE, IBM-ODM, PCF, OpenShift, Hadoop, DB2, SCON, Linux, Archer, ServiceNowWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
