Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Senior Transformation Analyst will support programs/projects/initiatives within RBC Investor Services (IS) focusing on Domestic and Global Custody, Fund Accounting, Recordkeeping and Institutional Market Services. The function will analyze business ideas from generation to support business cases and execution of the transformation as a Product Owner. The role will assist in the requirement gathering and support the business lines to standardize and prepare all requirements for delivery to IT. The role is also responsible to drive continuous improvement initiatives, assist in timing or benchmarking end to end processes, oversee process documentation, and liaise with RBC IS’s partners to influence external processes and behaviors. With a focus on business risk management and subject matter expertise, you will assist the business on ensuing programs are delivered on time and on budget according to our vision and strategy.What will you do?
- Analysis of business generated ideas, determining value, significance and appeal
- Assist and support in the creation and review of the business case and PAR.
- Support lead and provide subject matter expertise on approved programs.
- Collaborate with the operational business teams to review, strengthen and agree all business requirements within approved programs.
- Ensure operational business risk is mitigated on approved programs. All changes formally documented within program scope as a result of the enhancements.
- Keep up to date on market and regulatory changes impacting domestic and global custody.
- Collaborate with Product managers & product owners on new product implementation, enhancement, and overall product strategy.
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
- 2-4+ years relevant working experience in the financial industry
- Sound knowledge, experience and understanding of domestic and global custody
- Working knowledge of Fund Account, Recordkeeping, Corporate Action, Institutional Market Services
- Superior interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with clients, senior management, and colleagues.
- Risk management and mitigation focus.
- Track record of developing and implementing innovation and change.
- Project Management Framework and methodologies experience
