Summary
The Senior Treasury Analyst will be reporting to the Director of Treasury and responsible for providing support for the Company’s corporate insurance and treasury functions. Insurance responsibilities involve working internally with the Risk Management Supervisor and externally with the insurance brokers and claims adjusters for general queries and assisting in the gathering of data for the yearly renewal of the global insurance program. Corporate treasury responsibilities are to maintain cash and liquidity along with generating applicable details for corporate treasury and corporate reporting records, assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, foreign exchange hedging and liaising with banks and other internal and external stakeholders.

This position is based out of the Enerflex’s Downtown Calgary, AB office.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with the gathering of information in preparation for the yearly renewal of the Enerflex’s global insurance program.
- Respond to questions or queries from insurance brokers, insurance underwriters and insurance adjusters.
- Accurate and timely reporting of treasury functions including daily cash, forecasting, and borrowing.
- Preparation of drawdown, rollover and repayment notices for the syndicated credit facility and term loan.
- Develop relationships with key bank contacts for purpose of coordination of queries and responses between these banks and Enerflex business units.
- Assume responsibility for monitoring hedge portfolio.
- Assist bank administration including changes to accounts/signing officers/electronic banking.
- Assist with the completion of all debt facility compliance reporting.
- Ensure accurate documentation for intercompany funding transactions.
- Completion of foreign exchange trades in compliance with hedging policies and guidelines.
- Generate reports for weekly and month end journal entries due to hedging, interest, and other various Treasury driven transactions.
- Update and maintain the Treasury Work Stations (Treasura, Reval, FXall, Kyriba or others as required).
Qualifications
- An undergraduate Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (or equivalent) with a major in Accounting, Finance, Operations (or similar) with 5 – 8 years insurance and treasury experience required.
- A professional designation for insurance (CRM, ARM or equivalent), accounting (CPA) or treasury designation (CTP) would be preferred; or enrolled in the later stages of the program.
- Working experience in a combined Treasury and Insurance role would be considered beneficial.
- Working knowledge of Treasura, Reval, Fxall, Kyriba and Bloomberg would be an asset.
- Experience with trade finance, letters of credit or bank guarantees.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid computer skills utilizing accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to converse with all levels of the organization.
- Desire to work in a collaborative, creative team, willingness to complete whatever tasks are required.
- Strong time management skills with an ability to set priorities.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced general office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel is possible on occasion.
