Have the digital world at your feet…We are excited to be searching for a Senior Video Producer to join the FA Education division. The post holder will lead the creation and management of all video content within the Learning and Innovation team. Oversee the full video production process, from concept to post-production, ensuring the delivery of dynamic, engaging, and innovative video content that aligns with FA Learnings’ learning and coach development principles, ensuring the effective use of resources, adherence to deadlines, and consistent quality across all outputs.What will you be doing?

  • Drive the development of innovative and engaging video content across FA Learning’s digital platforms, utilising advanced Adobe software for editing and motion graphics.
  • Oversee the video content strategy for FA Learning’s YouTube channel, using data analytics to optimize performance and apply an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and iterative development approach to content.
  • Manage the project workflow for the video production team, ensuring optimal use of skills, resources, and content across multiple projects, while maintaining consistent quality.
  • Ensure that all video assets represent the diverse football community and align with FA Learning’s tone of voice, enhancing connection with audiences and supporting their development journey.
  • Manage FA Learning’s visual asset system, working closely with the Digital Content Lead to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of assets.
  • Identify, manage, and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and agencies for creative concepts, photo, and video shoots, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Ensure all video content is produced and delivered within agreed timelines and meets the quality expectations set by FA Learning.
  • Track, analyse, and report on the performance of video content against key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and ensuring data-informed decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends in video production, and advancements in video editing software, incorporating new techniques to enhance video content quality.
  • Executes additional tasks as required to meet FA Group’s changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.

What are we looking for?Essential for the role:Knowledge:

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Videography, Photography, or a related creative field.
  • Strong understanding of video production processes, including storyboarding, scripting, filming, and post-production.

Experience:

  • Proven experience leading video content production, with the ability to conceptualise, shoot, and deliver video content across various digital platforms, ideally with experience in sports videography.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, leading the creation of innovative video concepts in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Significant experience as a self-shooting camera operator, ideally with knowledge of Sony cameras and video equipment.
  • Experience in managing project workflows, overseeing multiple projects from ideation to post-production, ensuring efficient team operations and resource utilization.
  • Experience working to written briefs and developing creative solutions to meet project objectives.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with flexible working hours, including national travel and weekend work where required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other motion graphic or video editing software.
  • Ability to oversee the entire video production process, from concept development to final post-production, ensuring quality control throughout.
  • Strong knowledge of social media video trends, with the ability to create bespoke assets tailored for social media platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring all deadlines are met throughout the production process.
  • Comfortable with working at heights for capturing specific video shots (using elevated platforms where necessary).

Beneficial to have:Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of graphic design and photography, enabling a well-rounded approach to visual content creation.
  • Familiarity with modern coach development principles, ensuring video content aligns with FA Learning’s broader strategic goals.
  • Experience in storyboarding and scripting, supporting the development of clear and engaging video narratives.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in the design and implementation of educational resources, particularly within a sport or learning environment.
  • Understanding of YouTube channel management and best practices for optimising video content to grow and engage audiences.

Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising workflows and ensuring the effective delivery of video content across platforms.
  • A solid understanding of video analytics and the ability to use these insights to improve future video projects.
