POSITION SUMMARY:

The Services & Support Associate will directly support and report to our Halifax office lead due to the increased volume of accounting and operations work. This position will support day-to-day accounting needs in the Halifax office, (create a separation of duties within our banking operations) and support the Accounting team in the Lynnwood office in relation to reporting for the Kongsberg Discovery entity.

50% Accounting / 50% Operations support with peaks and valleys within each month around accounting close.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quote/Issue POs / SOs (direct support to Sales & Service Administrator)
  • General Admin / Office Support
  • Invoicing / Collections/AR
  • AP, Payments and Application
  • Re-Billing of Time/Expenses to Parent Company
  • Bank Reconciliation (within AX module)
  • Phone Support
  • Audit support

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • AA in business or equivalent work experience
  • Basic to intermediate skill in Microsoft suite
  • Experience acting as a liaison between departments internally
  • Experience acting as a liaison between suppliers externally
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and optimism, as well as a sense of urgency and passion for excellence
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to adapt to priority changes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and organizational skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with an ERP, AR/AP or Purchasing experience is a plus.
