We are recruiting a sessional Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Lead to join our Professional Construction team based at our Roundhouse Campus in Pride Park, Derby. The team you’ll be joining is energetic and diverse, with colleagues ranging from recent graduates to those with over 35 years’ experience within the construction industry to those who have been teaching with us for 6 years.We are recruiting a sessional Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Lead to join our excellent Professional Construction Academy at Derby College. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your specialist knowledge and support assessors, trainers and teachers in ensuring that compliance to all expectations of DCG, Awarding Organisations and End Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) are always achieved or exceeded.Our learners range from 16 to 18 years old and adult learners on a variety of courses including Higher Technical Qualifications (Level 4 & 5), T-Levels (Level 3) and Apprenticeships (Level 3 and Level 4).About youYou will be responsible for and lead the Internal Quality Assurance process across all the qualifications and apprenticeships delivered in the Professional Construction Academy across all levels of study. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the IQA and EQA processes, in addition to holding an A1 Award, as well as a V1 Award (or willing to work towards this in the first year of employment).The Benefits
