South Thames College are now on the lookout for a Sessional Lecturer to deliver varied and effective teaching and learning Tai Chi sessions to adult learners, in which all members of the group are respected and able to participate.
You will develop course objectives using effective course and lesson plans designed to monitor learners’ progress, prepare lesson plans, showing content, activities and timing, and prepare learning materials for each session as appropriate.
We’re looking for someone who has experience of teaching Tai Chi courses to adults and who can produce and present reports to a variety of audiences (registers, lesson plans, schemes of work and students’ profile). You’ll be committed to establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with colleagues and students and be able to prepare and develop materials and assessments for the programme.
We also ask that you are able and willing to work in the evenings until 9pm and Saturdays until 3pm, at both our Wandsworth and Tooting campuses.
