Job Summary What is the opportunity?
As a Settlements Analyst, you will beresponsible for ensuring the flow of trades from source systems such as TOMs and Apex flow correctly into settlement systems such as CDS, Opics, and RIMMs. Settlement Analyst is responsible for preparing reports and ensuring that the cash and position reconciliations are accurate.Job DescriptionWhat will you do?Work constructively in a team environmentAid in managing volumes and organizing workflowEnsure all trades are processed through OPICS on a daily basisPossess good knowledge of the products and systems required to accomplish daily responsibilitiesAssists with daily reconciliation and balancing to resolve any cash breaksEnsures adherence to policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations riskOn an ongoing basis will assist Associate Director Fixed Income Operations with any ad hoc requirements / tasksWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveBachelor’s Degree or College Diploma (preferably in Finance)Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-taskDemonstrated ability to meet tight deadlinesDemonstrated experience working with Excel and macros (don’t need to create them)Nice-to-have1-2 years Investment/Securities Industry experienceExperience working with OPICS, APEX and CDS.Experience working in any Operations/reconciliation roleWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
