Job description

Our client is looking for a SHEQ Advisor to provide assistance with regards to the management of safety, health and environment and quality issues and support the SHEQ Manager.

This role is for an initial 2-3 months contract but has the potential to be accepted. Main responsibilities include:

  • Assist and advise the operational and management team to further develop the management systems and operational practices.
  • Supporting the management and operational teams in their line management responsibility for safety, health, environmental and quality.
  • Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. risk assessments, risk management, fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational health, etc.
  • Providing support implementing safety, health, environmental and quality management systems
  • Assist on incident management & oversee investigation process, ensuring that the investigations produced by line management are of sufficient quality and completed within prescribed timescales.

Candidates need to hold a NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum with any other qualifications being advantageous.
