The RoleTo operate a Slicing machine in a meat production environment

- To operate Dolav Tipper in accordance with relevant Health and Safety procedures.
- To de-bag products and place in the press which feeds into the slicer in accordance with the relevant health and safety procedures.
- To operate the Slicer in accordance with relevant Health and Safety procedures.
- To weigh off-weights at speed and with accuracy when required.
- To load raw bacon into a Multivac at speed and with accuracy when required.
Skills and Experience Required
- Understanding of retailer products and quality standards preferable.
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Reliable, conscientious, self-motivated and punctual
- Effective communication – written, verbal and non-verbal
- Effective problem solving skills
- Interpersonal skills to be able to develop working relationships
