S’appuyer sur un ensemble complet de pratiques, de connaissances et d’aptitudes pour réaliser des affectations.Job DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?RBC is seeking to hire SDET – Quality Engineer. As a SDET, you will be responsible for effective executing and tracking functional tests for WMTS Canada & US. Your objective is to ensure the QE processes are well defined, executed and continually monitored. Working with different project teams to ensure functional/regression test suite is up to date and remains relevant. You will be accountable for driving quality and champion defect prevention/early defect detection and maximizing test coverage.
- Provide support to QE Lead/Manager on test preparation and execution.
- Support the stakeholders in achieving their strategic goals for the product/project team by providing QE support.
- Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?Automate assigned areas/feature using existing Framework.Responsible for designing the effective test cases using Model based approach and test design techniques.Provide daily status to QE Lead/Manager on projects under test deliverables.Create Test Suite, Traceability matrix etc. and provide support on test suite walkthrough with different teams.Support the implementation of the QE Program and overall QE process and standards through continuous test preparation and execution.Leverages the existing automation frameworks, tools and artefacts to ensure testing process is continuous, comprehensive and fully autonomous.Work with QE Lead/Manager on integration testing and bring up risks in a timely fashion to prepare for contingency.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:Typically requires 2-4 years of QE related experienceGood knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application support and development.Good knowledge of QE Processes, Methodologies and Test Design techniques with hands on experience on ALM, JIRA and Confluence.Experience with Iterative Waterfall and Agile Project Methodologies.Strong problem solving, design, and analytical skills and out of the box thinking coming up with creative solutions on testing approach in critical timelines.Good knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (SoapUI, Selenium, Appium, UFT/Lean UFT/RestAssured/Robot Framework, TestNG).Basic knowledge of industry practices with focus on Agile, DevOps, environments and test integration.Hands-on experience in executing manual/automated test cases and reporting to senior management for complex multi-application system integrations.Excellent communication skills.Nice-to-have:QA related certification. E.g.
