Salary: £42,000 – £48,000This firm is a leading legal practice dedicated to delivering justice for its clients. With a strong reputation in personal injury law, they specialise in handling litigated accident cases and providing expert legal representation. As a Solicitor in the Accident Department, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse caseload of litigated personal injury claims, including employer liability, public liability, and occupier liability cases. You will handle all aspects of litigation, from drafting pleadings and motions to engaging in settlement negotiations. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the team by supervising and mentoring Legal Assistants and Trainees, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement within the department.My client is seeking a qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate in Scotland and experience managing litigated personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Scottish personal injury law, particularly in employer, public, and occupier liability claims. Exceptional litigation, negotiation, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to meet financial targets and key performance indicators.
