What is the opportunity?
The Sourcing Solutions Support Analyst is a hybrid role that will see your time split between providing support to the broader Global Procurement organization with Sourcing events managed through the Enterprise Procurement platform and providing contract support across RBC for high volume sourcing engagement activities that are typically low complexity and of lower spend threshold.
**Please note that the location for this position is Toronto. This position requires a hybrid working arrangement of approx. 3 days/week in the office**
What will you do?
- Leverage RBC’s Enterprise Procurement platform to ensure a seamless Supplier and End User experience during the RFx process.
- Investigate and resolve level one issues and support some level two issues that impact End Users’ and Suppliers’ abilities to use the Sourcing module of the Enterprise Procurement Platform; escalate level three and some level two issues to the Source to Contract Solution Product team for resolution.
- Deliver User training for the Supplier and Sourcing modules, including remedial ad hoc training, as required.
- Communicate and coordinate the documentation of process changes, service alerts, FAQs, etc. with respective product teams for internal and external user communities of the Supplier and Sourcing modules of the Source to Contract solution.
- Negotiate and draft supplier agreements such as Amendments, SOWs, NDAs, EAs, TAs and MSAs in support of Procurement and business partner teams.
- Liaise with internal business partners and external suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure best terms and pricing for the company.
- Triage new Sourcing and RFx requests and assigning incoming requests to other team members.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Post-secondary education preferably in Business or Commerce
- 2+ years’ experience in Procurement role including contracting and supplier sourcing
- Strong Contract Acumen and Analytical skills
- Detailed oriented and Strong critical thinker and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and superb time management skills
Nice-to-have
- Strong negotiation capability
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong Financial Acumen
