The principal duties for the position are listed below are:
- Plan and deliver engaging, clear, and informative Spanish lessons that capture the essence of the language and its culture.
- Help develop and enhance our Spanish curriculum, incorporating contemporary teaching methods and materials.
- Organise and lead cultural events and activities that deepen students’ understanding of Spanish-speaking countries.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback and support to ensure academic and personal growth.
- Spearhead extracurricular initiatives such as Spanish clubs or language immersion excursions.
Essential Qualifications for Spanish Teachers:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
- 2 proven & recent professional references
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
- Proven track record of teaching Spanish effectively at the secondary level.
- A deep appreciation and knowledge of Spanish culture, with a passion for sharing this with students.
- Ability to employ innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within our school community.
