We have an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to enhance their clinical skills in neurology as part of our team at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust, for a period of maternity cover.We are looking for a forward thinking dietitian to join our team of dietitians, based at Queens medical centre. You will become an integral member of our multidisciplinary team delivering high quality patient-centred dietetic care. We are an exceptional, dynamic and supportive team with a strong MDT ethos.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will support complex nutritional interventions as well as nutrition support and enteral feeding so some experience in these would be beneficial. We actively encourage service improvement and audit and the successful candidate would have the opportunity to be involved in development work to improve nutritional care of our patients.You’ll need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and workload and that of other members of staff within a supportive team. Our HCPC registered AHP professionals comprise of physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, orthotists, prosthetists and speech and language therapists.We have a Chief AHP to lead us on our strategic direction, and many of the pathway leadership team have pathway AHP backgrounds to support our staff.
