An exciting 6 month fixed term opportunity to join our Stroke Specific Therapy Team. We are based at Heavitree Hospital but travel around the whole of the Eastern locality to deliver therapy in patients homes or other non acute settings.A full UK drivers license and own car is essential.Main duties of the jobFor more detail about the main duties of this role, please see the job description section below. The delivery of gold standard stroke specific intensive therapy within the patient’s own environment is our focus along with their timely discharge from the acute setting.The successful candidate will be working within a smaller cluster but will be expected to cover any area of the catchment area therefore there maybe times of a significant amount of driving during their working day.There will be an expectation of working closely with the acute therapy team especially during times of operational pressure.The successful candidate will work closely with the rest of the multidisciplinary team and will forge close links with acute and community colleagues to ensure seamless continuation of patient centred goals.Working Pattern: 37.5 hoursInterview Date: To Be ConfirmedFor further information please contact: Anna Jillings, Clinical Nurse Manager on 01392 408910, [email protected]This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.
