Within South Sector the AHP teams work together supporting each other to ensure we produce high quality care for our patients. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join the Orthopaedic Team on a permanent basis.This post will be located at Gartnavel General Hospital with a focus on Orthopaedic elective activity. It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous clinical experience in Orthopaedics. This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. We are looking for candidates who are open to generic working across other professions to improve the journey for the service user.You will be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff daily. You will lead in service development and service change within the team. You will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research.
