This position is for a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant, who will play a key role in supporting students with diverse needs in their learning journey at a reputable school in Torton, Kidderminster.Client DetailsOur client is an independent specialist school for children aged 5 to 19; renowned for creating opportunities for young people with learning disabilities in a nurturing environment. This is going to be a challenge and we’re looking for those with experience in the SEN sector.Description

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering individualised lesson plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide detailed feedback.
  • Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages active learning.
  • Collaborate with other team members and engage in continuous professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and practices.
  • Provide assistance in organising and participating in school events and activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare sector and education methodologies for special educational needs.
  • Uphold the school’s commitment to inclusive education and high standards of care.

ProfileA successful SEN Teaching Assistant should have:
