Context Specific Accountabilities:
Under the supervision of the Technical Referent/Logistics Team Leader/Hospital Facilities Manag-er/Logistics Supervisor, plan, carry out and monitor the mission’s electrical and solar activities accord-ing to MSFCH standards:
- Ensure that the project’s electrical and solar installations comply with the level requested by the Technical Service (priority is given to the safety of personnel and equipment)
- Track power consumption from different sites (Office; Guest houses, Hospital) and propose rational solutions to optimize costs and lower our carbon footprint.
- Ensure the implementation of the recommendations of MSFCH’s technical referent and report faults to the line manager.
- Monitoring and following up the Electrical codes (Emonio),Ensure all the devices is functioning and monthly report with indicators shared with the Line manager.
- Ensure all the electrical diagram and wiring layout is up to date with any changes happening in the project. Power sizing is up to date and followed.
- Providing training and workshop for the technical team on the MSFCH Energy standard and electrical safety set up.
- Flexibility to move around MSFCH projects in case of any needs of electrical rehabilitation and/or upgrading the electrical setup according to the standard.
- Ensuring the effeciency and safe usage of the equipment and tools; all electricians should comply with MSF safety standard during electrical maintenance and rehabilitation.
- Establish and follow orders for the maintenance of electrical installations and ensure the conformity of equipment before delivery.
- Monitor stock in order to anticipate and avoid any shortage of maintenance equipment.
Requirements for the role:
Education Essential Electrician diploma or recognized formal training.
Experience Previous 2-year experience as electrician essential. Experience with NGO desirable.
Languages Local (Arabic) and English are essential.
