Send us your resume and join a people-centric company with a reputation of excellence.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Specialized Treasury Clerk to join our dynamic financial team. The incumbent will be responsible for performing various treasury support tasks including cash management in collaboration with teammates, including daily transaction accounting, case and information research to ensure effective customer service and communication with our stores, distribution centers, head office staff and bank.Main Responsibilities
- Record banking transactions on a weekly basis from various bank interfaces, perform cheque deposits and related journal entries.
- Ensure cash management on a daily basis to meet operational needs, i.e., preparation of transfers between bank accounts, purchases of foreign currencies, payment preparations from the banking platform, payment of installments, preparation of bank drafts.
- Perform on a monthly basis the reconciliation of payment issues by cheque, cable and electronic transfer, payroll reconciliations, bank reconciliations and consumption tax declarations.
- Communicate regularly with our service providers and banks to provide customer service and support operations in their activities.
- UAP Inc. being subject to the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act, the specialized treasury clerk actively participates in the conduct of the financial audit and the audit of SOX internal controls.
- Be part of the change by participating in continuous improvement projects and automation of certain tasks.
- Support the growth of the UAP Inc. group by opening and closing bank accounts following numerous business acquisitions.
QualificationsTo join our team, you must among other things have:
- DEP in accounting with 5 years of experience or DEC in accounting with 2 years of experience
- Bilingualism, French and English
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
