The facility offers co-located CT scanning, on site x-ray, full diagnostic laboratory services, ambulatory care department, 30-bedded CDU ward and an Urgent Care Centre for primary care patients.   • MBBS or equivalent
  • Registered with the GMC
  • MRCEM, FRCEM, MEM,PGDEM, DEM or equivalent EM qualification or 24 months formal clinical EM experience

Desirable

  • ALS/ATLS/APLS or EPLS provider
  • Higher degree
  • Member of Medical Defence organisation

  • Clinical experience in the relevant specialty (Emergency Medicine min 12 months)
  • Experience of and commitment to medical audit.

  • Experience of and commitment to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff.
  • Ultrasound skills

  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
  • Ability to cover on call.
  • Demonstrable commitment to multidisciplinary team working
  • Positive approach to lessons learnt
  • IT Skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, to delegate responsibility as appropriate and to supervise staff
