Specialty Travel Consultant

Brigham Young University is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Specialty Travel Consultant! As a key member of the Purchasing & Travel department, you will bring your extensive travel knowledge to the forefront, assisting our university community in planning and organizing specialized trips. If you have a knack for navigating diverse cultures, arranging unique itineraries, and providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you! What you’ll do in this position:
- Travel and logistics management for individual, department, and group travel.
- Deployed travel office support.
- Process improvement and initiative support.
- Strategic sourcing relationship management.
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business management, travel and tourism, geography, or a related field.
- Two years of full-time experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business management, travel and tourism, geography, or a related field.
- Two years relationship management experience in travel or related field (concurrent with 2 years of experience above).
